We have moved to a new location about 35 miles southwest of where we’ve been for the past three years. My recent retirement means that we no longer need to be in the heart of Kissimmee and we decided a quieter, more rural location would be nice. Welcome to Oak Harbor RV Park! We still have some settling in to do, but here are a few pictures of what our new location looks like.
Our site is right next to a canal that leads to Lake Lowery. It’s the motor home straight ahead just to the left of the road.This is looking down the canal toward Lake Lowery. It was just after sunrise during my morning dog walk with MacKenzie.I’m looking forward to trying my luck with fishing in the lake and canal!The dog park is in a large grove of trees that provides natural shade throughout the day.The community room(s) have TVs, an extensive library and puzzle collection, and plenty of game tables, pool tables, a foosball table, restrooms and laundry facilities.I took this picture of this trio of cranes this morning from across the canal. They wander around the park all day, along with a variety of other waterfowl (limpkins, egrets, ducks, etc.)
