Hi all. First, my prayer request. I’m debating with myself on whether or not to continue with Watchmakerspulse.com. I began the website (mainly blog site) in 2017 when we were making plans to full-time RV. I envisioned traveling and posting about our adventures and writing about how God’s glory is visible all around us. Now, six years later, a lot has happened and our travels have come to a halt. Life is still good, but our plans have changed for the time being. Medical issues, finances, interesting job opportunities, proximity to family and a good church – and life is just different than it was when I began the blog. I no longer have the motivation to keep it going consistently, but looking back over it, I hate to lose the content I produced.
I have the website backed up on my local computer so I have a record of everything I produced. The annual subscription cost for web hosting and domain name are only one of the many expenses we have that I think we need to cut back on. The subscription and domain will remain in effect until January or so, so I have some time to make a final decision. I have about 150 “followers” plus friends on social media that might read what I’ve written. I’d appreciate comments to help me with this decision.
In the mean time, I’m going to go back through the past 6 years and re-post some of my favorite blog posts for those who may not have seen them or might enjoy reading them again. Thanks for reading!
Here is a post from my first month of blogging. I had been on a business trip to Oklahoma City and had the chance to visit the site of the Oklahoma City Federal Building domestic terrorism attack.
